By downloading, installing, or using PseuChef ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
PseuChef is an AI-powered kitchen assistant that helps you discover recipes, plan meals, manage your pantry, and improve your cooking skills. The app uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to generate recipes, nutrition information, and cooking advice. PseuChef optionally integrates with health devices (Oura Ring, Apple Watch via HealthKit, Dexcom CGM, and Withings smart scales) to personalize meal plans based on your biometric data.
PseuChef offers a free tier: 10 AI chat messages, 3 meal plans, 3 Chef\'s Eye scans, and 5 recipe imports. After these free uses, AI features require a PseuChef Plus or Pro subscription. Non-AI features (manual menu management, pantry tracking, shopping lists) remain available without a subscription.
Subscription pricing, terms, and payment processing are handled through Apple's App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
Important: PseuChef's AI features generate content using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated recipes, nutrition information, and cooking advice may contain errors or inaccuracies.
PseuChef is not a medical device. Health-informed meal suggestions — including those based on glucose readings, heart rate variability, body composition, sleep data, or any other biometric data — are for general wellness and nutrition purposes only.
Always consult your healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, eating disorders, or other health conditions. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on information provided by PseuChef.
Health device connections are entirely optional and can be disconnected at any time from the Settings screen. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how health data is used and protected.
PseuChef, its design, code, and branding are owned by PseuChef and its creator. Recipes generated by the AI are provided for your personal use. You may share individual recipes but may not systematically extract or redistribute AI-generated content.
PseuChef is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to: adverse reactions to recipes, nutritional inaccuracies, food safety incidents, or data loss.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for PseuChef Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.
AI features depend on third-party services (Anthropic) and internet connectivity. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using PseuChef at any time by deleting the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of PseuChef after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
